Bootstrap Redux
"Same again. And for yourself."
The bartender poured two whiskeys and urged him on.
"You built a time machine?"
"It messes your memories, but I went back, then had a family problem."
"Killed your grandfather?"
"Nah. Was before my gender change. I got seduced, pregnant."
"Really?"
"Had her adopted away. Went to the future, changed sex. Went back to beat up the bastard, but got sidetracked by this woman..."
"And?"
"Seduced myself, I realised later." He emptied his glass. "Turns out I'm my mother, too. And father."
"Shit!"
"The worst part is," he sobbed, "I never gave me birthday presents!"
